Bio
Cynthia is the office manager for the IES Concord office. She is an IES university program associate and also provides administrative support across the state to the Associate Executive Director, Field Services, Assistant Director of Quality, Program Director, Lean Six Sigma, Director of Business Development & Management, Assistant Director of Technology Management and Senior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, regional managers and improvement specialists. She joined IES in 2001. Her experience in higher education spans over 30 years. Prior to joining IES, Cynthia worked at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a database manager in the office of research services. Before that, Cynthia was employed at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in the Department of Surgery as an administrative secretary. Outside the office, Cynthia enjoys travelling, reading a good book and writing children’s stories.
