About This Event:

With Six Sigma, perfection is now possible. Six Sigma is the application of statistical methods to business to increase operating efficiency and consistency in order to completely eliminate mistakes and waste. This half-day Six Sigma executive briefing kicks off with an informal breakfast, followed by a welcome from Dr. Blanton A. Godfrey, dean of the NCSU College of Textiles and former CEO of the Juran Institute. Presenting an overview of the Six Sigma methodology, Dr. Godfrey will fully explore the secret weapon of some of the world's most successful companies. Two company case studies will be presented. During the question and answer period, led by Dr. Godfrey, you will have the opportunity to discuss how and why these two companies have successfully implemented Six Sigma strategies. During this briefing, you will also learn the details of the Six Sigma Black Belt Training offered in partnership with College of Textiles and IES. Lunch and time to network is included.
