About This Event:

This half-day overview will cover the essential components of an ISO 14001 EMS or OHSAS 18001 OHSMS. Discussion will surround elements of the standard, typical timelines for implementation, potential obstacles, resources needed, costs associated with registration and the benefits associated with either program.

Instructor(s):

Wendy Laing is a Certified Safety Professional and has experience with both ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management Systems. Ms. Laing has assisted many companies develop their Safety Management Systems. She will lead the OHSAS 18001 portion of the event.

Charlie Parrish will lead the ISO 14001 portion of the event. Mr. Parrish has assisted over 20 companies in achieving ISO 14001 registration.
