Applying Lean to Your Supply and Customer Bases
About This Event:
-
Beyond reducing waste and increasing efficiency in manufacturing and other processes, lean principles can streamline and improve logistics and supply chain management and spur companies to even greater heights of profitability and success. This 2-day workshop focuses on engaging the entire company and beyond -- the extended enterprise -- to apply lean to the supply and customer bases.
Implementing the Lean Supply Chain begins by defining the current condition of your supply chain networks then uses value stream mapping to isolate areas of waste and uncover opportunities for cost reduction within the extended enterprise. Total Cost of Ownership is a common theme throughout the workshop, as we discuss and dissect the importance of supplier and customer collaboration, cross-functional cooperation, and logistics and supply chain measurements.
