As of August 2008, NC State has helped 125 clients achieve certification to the ISO 9001 quality system standard. We work with manufacturing and service businesses to help them define, develop, and improve their fundamental business activities for enhanced competitiveness and increased customer satisfaction.
The updated ISO 9001 standard is the new guideline for business process effectiveness. Our clients are successfully implementing these guidelines in ways that integrate and support their current business activities without the unnecessary documentation and procedures that were so prevalent in pre-2000 systems.
