The Shingo Prize is North America’s premiere manufacturing award program. The Prize recognizes organizations that use world-class manufacturing strategies and practices to achieve world-class results. Recipients of the Prize produce phenomenal statistics that highlight the value of using Lean / World-Class manufacturing practices to attain world-class status. We are soliciting Intent to Apply forms from companies interested in the 2007 NC Shingo Prize challenge. See the Calendar of Events for deadline dates.
The North Carolina Shingo Prize is open to North Carolina companies, divisions and plants that demonstrate excellence in manufacturing practices. To be eligible for the Prize, applicants must apply and submit an achievement report. To learn about the application procedure, go to More Information and look under the heading "Related Documents".
Achievement reports are reviewed by the North Carolina Shingo Prize Board of Examiners. Examiners are practitioners and academicians who have been trained in the Shingo Prize criteria. Those interested in becoming a business examiner may submit a complete resume and biography for review.
