Keihin Carolina System Technology, a leading producer of automotive fuel systems and engine control units will host a Manufacturing Makes It Real Network event on March 28th at 1:30 p.m. at their 4047 McNair Road location.
Tri County Industries has earned AS 9100C certification through guidance from North Carolina State University’s Industrial Extension Service (IES). Tri County Industries (TCI) will accept a banner celebrating the milestone on February 23 at 11:30am at their facility on 1250 Atlantic Avenue, Rocky Mount.

The Southeastern Regional Medical Center (SRMC) will receive the Level 2-Commitment award from the North Carolina Awards for Excellence at NC State University. SRMC is one of 3 healthcare facilities to receive the Governor’s Award of Performance Excellence in Healthcare for 2011.
SRMC will be formally recognized by the governor at the North Carolina Hospital Association’s annual meeting on February 16-17, 2012 at the Embassy Suites in Cary.

Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Lumberton), CarePartners Health Services (Asheville) and CaroMont Health (Gastonia) will receive awards from the North Carolina Awards for Excellence Program at North Carolina State University. Each organization will be recognized by Governor Perdue at the North Carolina Hospital Association’s annual meeting on February 16-17, 2012 at the Embassy Suites in Cary.
The North Carolina Awards for Excellence, facilitated by the North Carolina State University’s Industrial Extension Service (IES), is modeled after the National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award. Award recipients in healthcare also receive the Governor’s Award of Performance Excellence in Healthcare.
CaroMont Health will receive the Level 2-Commitment award from the North Carolina Awards for Excellence at NC State University. CaroMont is one of 3 healthcare facilities to receive the Governor’s Award of Performance Excellence in Healthcare for 2011.

The DRS Technologies Elizabeth City location served as the setting for the latest meeting of an N.C. State University-based effort to talk up and shine positive spotlights on industries in the state. The effort, called the "Manufacturing Makes It Real Network," started more than a year ago as a collective effort of NCSU's Industrial Extension Service.
