The conference, dubbed mfgCON 2015, will be held in Raleigh on October 20-21 and will include two days of manufacturing focused presentations and breakout sessions designed for maximum exposure to the newest ideas, tools and resources.

The Southeastern OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) announced the launch of a new, 8-hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations) course that can be completed entirely online. The online course applies to a wide range of workers, including those in cleanup operations at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites and EPA-licensed waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities, and emergency personnel responding to scenarios involving hazardous materials.
