Through a variety of keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities, the 2009 Management Systems Summit will help you and your organization create a culture of continuous improvement and continuous success.

2009 Keynote Speakers

We are excited this year to have our keynote address delivered by Dale Carroll, the North Carolina Deputy Secretary of Commerce. He will be speaking on the continued importance of manufacturing in our economy. When Dale Carroll was appointed by Gov. Bev Perdue as the deputy secretary of the N.C. Department of Commerce in January 2009, he brought three decades of business management and executive leadership to the position. You will hear how the Governor and our Department of Commerce programs support this important industry.
Commanding Officer, Col. L. S. Loch, of the United States Marine Corps, Fleet Readiness Center East represents the first military organization to be awarded a North Carolina Awards for Excellence Level 3 Advancement Award. Col. Loch will share his story of how using Baldrige Criteria can be applied to any organization that desires business excellence.
