Course Description:
FMEA is a systematic step-by-step approach for identifying failures, faults and variations in product, design and/or process. This course explains the foundational benefits of failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) as a preventive tool for process development. Participants will gain practical experience and skills in completing PFMEAs with relevant industry examples.

Our experienced instructor, will discuss the various topics and provide guidance on how to develop a PFMEA. By attending this one-day course you will be capable of:
- Explaining the relationship between PFMEA, APQP and DFMEA
- Defining PFMEA customers
- Creating process flow diagram
- Explaining functions and related potential failure modes
- Identifying root causes and potential failure effects
- Establishing prevention and detection controls
- Identifying Risk Priority Number (RPN)
- Taking corrective actions for critical items
- Establishing signs of a successful FMEA
