Alex Easley is the regional manager serving eastern North Carolina for NC State University  Industry Expansion Solutions (IES). He is responsible for Beaufort, Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Dare, Duplin, Greene, Hyde, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Robeson, Tyrell, Washington and Wayne counties. Alex has served in both the public and private sectors. For more than six years he was a branch manager with Manpower, Inc. in Wilmington, North Carolina. 

He’s worked with companies and organizations in areas such as education, finance and insurance, government, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, renewable energies, transportation, and warehouse and logistics. He provided innovative workforce solutions, training, and recruiting and talent resourcing services. Alex also was employed by the State of North Carolina with the Office of the Governor as the deputy director of boards and commissions. 

Alex was born, raised and continues to live in eastern North Carolina and is dedicated to the success of its people, businesses and economic development.He has worked with various economic development organizations, business leaders, state government departments and representatives maintaining positive and productive relationships, all towards the goal of strengthening growth and opportunity for businesses and its citizens.

When asked what his proudest moment of working with IES was, Alex responded, “I would say my proudest moments at IES are when I get to help the clients. Every time I go into an organization and say that I’m a part of NC State IES, I’m welcomed in because that’s just the kind of reputation that IES has. They tell me things about their organization that they haven’t told anybody and to be able to get that level of trust and help them find a solution…it’s really rewarding.” 

In his free time, Alex likes golfing, fishing, being outside working in the yard and going boating with his wife and kids.
