Traditional occupational safety and health programs have generally focused on ensuring that work is safe and that workers are protected from the physical hazards present in the workplace. However, mental health and well-being are also critical components of workplace safety. This session will examine how mental health and well-being impacts worker safety and will introduce resources available to assist businesses with developing a safety program that includes the consideration of mental health hazards.
