Lean product and process development workshop and tour

November 19 - November 20

$345

Developing a new product is exciting and risky, but you can learn to reduce the risk so you can enjoy the excitement—and the payoff. Tour Ingersoll Rand and discover how lean design tools and lean product development can reduce costs, improve resource utilization and accelerate time-to-market for new products and services by eliminating non-value-added waste in the development stages.

IES Improvement Specialist Bill Iacovelli will lead a Lean product and process development workshop at the November meeting of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME). Bill will teach workshop attendees what waste and value look like in the context of new product development and how to achieve significant improvements in time-to-market and production costs by applying lean principles to the product development environment.

Participants will also tour Ingersoll Rand’s 3P area in Davidson where product, process and people come together to brainstorm ideas into new products and processes that are built from the base up with lean principles and standard work.
