Industry Expansion Solutions, the administrator for the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP), is closely monitoring the COVID-19/coronavirus situation. Our greatest concern is for the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and staff. We honor all first-responders and medical professionals for the brave work that they do attending to those in need. Our hearts go out to all affected in this pandemic. As a business unit of the College of Engineering at NC State University, we will continue to comply with operational directives and that of the University

On March 3, North Carolina reported its first case of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is providing timely updates on our state’s status.

In addition, NCMEP has also created a coronavirus resource page that will be updated with new and relevant resources as they become available.

And finally, the Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence works side by side with the MEP National Network as the continuing manufacturing education entity. They are providing the latest and most up to date information to the centers regarding the coronavirus pandemic, how it’s impacting small and medium (SMMs) sized manufacturers today and providing resources to the Centers, SMMs and the public. Click here for the link to these valuable resources, tailored specifically to small and medium size manufacturers.
