RALEIGH, NC – January 29, 2015 – NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES), the engineering-based, solutions-driven, client-focused unit of NC State University, today announced that two of its Health and Safety Specialists are co-presenting at the Business, Environmental and Safety Training (BEST) Conference being held in Raleigh, NC on February 11, 2016 at the McKimmon Center.
“Our presentation at this meeting mirrors one of OSHA’s most recent initiatives—Transitioning to Safer Chemicals—an approach that companies can use to establish a chemical management system designed to reduce or eliminate chemical hazards through substitution and transition to safer alternatives,” said Holli Singleton, IES Assistant Director of Health and Safety Services.
Mac McNulty and Wendy Shepherd, Health and Safety Specialists with NC State’s Industry Expansion Solutions and the Southeastern OTI Education Center, will present beginning at 2:00 PM. IES and the Southeastern OTI Education Center will also be an exhibitor at the conference.
