A Letter from the Director

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” —Helen Keller

A safety professional must be skilled at developing relationships. Communicating the message of safety is based on trust, respect, and caring for others. Our organization seeks to create meaningful relationships with our customers, our partners, and our peers. I can honestly say that I’m learning every day as a result of these relationships, and we hope to create an effective learning environment once our participants enter the classroom.

The Ergonomics Center of North Carolina of the NC State Industrial and Systems Engineering department is a long-standing partner of our organization. This unit provides consulting and training programs for ergonomics and human factors, and is nationally recognized for their expertise. We are delighted for their instruction of the OSHA #2255 Principles of Ergonomics. Consider reaching out to this partner for advice and assistance for ergonomics in your workplace.
