Job-made makeshift boxes, baskets and platforms that are attached to powered industrial trucks pose a huge risk to workers. There have been previously reported falls as a result of using make-shift platforms. This summer, temperatures have reached record highs all across the country. Don’t get stuck in a heatwave unprepared. OSHA has created a flyer entitled “Prevent Heat Illness at Work” for quick and easy instructions on what to do to protect yourself and others and the steps you need to take to treat someone suffering from heat-related illness
