Ventilation Strategies to Reduce the Risk of COVID-19

The National Occupational Research Agenda Manufacturing Sector Council’s COVID-19 workgroup has developed an online document that can assist manufacturers in ventilation practices. The document is a collection of data, implementation strategies and testimonials on the use of outdoor air, existing industrial ventilation, and HVAC systems to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in manufacturing facilities. Seeking Information: OSHA Updating Mechanical Power Presses Standard

OSHA is updating the Mechanical Power Presses Standard. If you have information regarding how closely the standard should follow the current ANSI standard, the types of presses that should be covered, the use and certification of equipment, presence-sensing device initiation systems, and requirements for press modifications, training, and injury reporting, please submit all comments to the Federal eRulemaking Portal by October 26, 2021.

24-Hour HAZWOPER for Hazardous Waste Site Workers
October 25-27 | Raleigh, NC

This course meets the training requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard—29 CFR 1910.120 paragraphs (b) through (o). If your job requires you to enter hazardous waste sites, then you need to be prepared to protect yourself. This course will increase your understanding of health and safety plans, protective equipment, and many other aspects of working around hazardous waste.
