Bio
Kristin Case is a quality improvement specialist for NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions (IES). She worked as a quality engineer and quality manager for a Part 145 repair station early in her career. She has over 20 years of experience as a consultant to aerospace organizations and small businesses, where she helped clients improve their performance through quality management systems. Kristin has provided training, auditing and workshops to help clients with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120. She holds a Principal Auditor certificate from Exemplar Global and previously held the Aerospace Industry Experienced Auditor (AIEA) certificate. She has taught quality management system courses for three school systems in Oklahoma and presented at several regional and international conferences on quality topics. In addition to management systems, Kristin’s background includes project management, Baldrige Performance Excellence criteria, Six Sigma, lean, and other quality tools and techniques. Kristin has degrees in industrial engineering, mathematics, business, and economics. Active as a Fellow in ASQ, Kristin has served as a volunteer in multiple positions including as a member of the Board of Directors; she holds seven ASQ certifications.
