Kristy Main is an Extension Specialist for Learning and Organizational Development at NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions (IES). She facilitates development opportunities and trains various groups in leadership skills. Kristy has worked for the state government for over 20 years. Within those 20 years, Kristy has provided leadership training to managers across the state of North Carolina, from Maintenance Supervisors and Nursing Consultants to Laboratory Directors and Facility Directors. Kristy’s areas of experience include Myers-Briggs assessments, situational leadership, coaching, Tuckman’s team development. Kristy enjoys conducting team-building sessions with Myers-Briggs assessments, True Colors and even escape rooms! Team building sessions are custom developed to fit the team’s needs at the time. Kristy also helps teams determine current issues and map their team to their desired state. Kristy holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from NC State University. She is a certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her 13-year-old son, tailgating at Wolfpack sporting events and solving Deadbolt Mystery Society murder mystery kits!
