Teresa Bradford is the Director of Marketing at NC State University's Industry Expansion Solutions. She is a strategic marketing executive who has led marketing initiatives for major fortune 100 companies including DuPont and IBM. At DuPont, Teresa was responsible for the marketing strategy of five product lines within the Electronics Division of the company. Prior to joining DuPont, Teresa held multiple senior marketing roles at IBM for 10 years and holds a US Patent for a Risk and Compliance Framework. She helped launch IBM eDiscovery, IBM Smart Archive, IBM Agile ECM, IBM Advanced Case Management and the ECM components of Watson successfully into the marketplace. While at IBM, Teresa had multiple marketing roles in Emerging Business Opportunities (EBO), most notably in the startup Network Attached Storage (NAS) where she helped ramp up sales from 0 to $12M in just six months. Prior to joining IBM, Teresa founded and was President of Bradford Marketing Communications for five years and built an agency that served for profit businesses as well as regional, state and national non-profit associations, including the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE), the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NCASLA) and American Institute of Architects, Triangle Section. Overall, she managed strategic marketing; event planning, conference development and CEU training; demand generation; advertising; public relations; internal/external communications; collateral development; web site development and electronic communications. She developed and managed more than 300 trade shows, educational seminars and special events over a four-year period. In her early career, Teresa was an English and Journalism Instructor in Wake and Vance counties in North Carolina. She developed a comprehensive curriculum for a Photojournalism Class that was adopted by Wake County (NC) Public Schools. Teresa holds a B.A. in journalism and a B.S. in education from the Ohio State University.
