At IES, we recognize the value of a strong team and have recruited renowned organizations into our statewide mission to make North Carolina number one in every market we serve. Some of these organizations provide us with expertise in highly specialized fields, like the Minerals Research Laboratory in Asheville and the Polymers Center of Excellence (PCE) in Charlotte. Some provide specialized services to a narrow range of clientele, but all expand our reach and our effectiveness for North Carolina.
In joint partnership with the North Carolina Community College System, NCWorks, the Economic Development Partnership of NC, the Polymers Center of Excellence, the Manufacturing Solutions Center, and North Carolina A&T State University IES helps administer the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP), a public-private operating alliance of state-supported programs that work together to enhance the performance of the state’s small- to medium-sized manufacturers. The MNC Network provides venues where North Carolina manufacturers can discover new business opportunities and express their pride in their “Made in NC” products.
