Barbara Williams, Director of Standards and Regulatory Services at NC State’s Industry Expansion Solutions, will present a session titled, “AS Certification for Aerospace Businesses: What Your Business Needs to Know” at the 2016 Southeast Region Aerospace Supplier and Advanced Manufacturing Summit on August 17, 2016.
Her session is designed to inform businesses about the AS series of quality management standards that applies to businesses that support the aerospace industry. The AS series of standards includes: AS 9100 for organizations that design and manufacture products for the aerospace industry including parts, components and assemblies; AS 9110 for repair stations that maintain commercial, private, and military aircraft; and AS 9120 for distributors of parts to manufacturers that supply the aerospace industry.
