Adrianne Kroll is a Management Systems and Quality Improvement Specialist for NC State's Industry Expansion Solutions (IES). She assists organizations pursuing quality management systems registration in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and aerospace. Adrianne also assists with training and facilitation in core quality tools including problem solving and root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis. In addition, she provides training and coaching in project management. Adrianne began her career in the Defense industry supporting Navy nuclear aircraft carrier and submarine design and construction as a Systems Engineer. She also supported the US military as an Analyst for the United States Joint Forces Command. She has led various cross-functional teams, with employees on all levels including upper management, in documenting processes, identifying waste and brainstorming improvements in the areas of Customer Support, Information Technology, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management. Adrianne has helped companies implement metrics to track on-time delivery and customer satisfaction and has experience in systems and industrial engineering, risk management, requirements management, configuration and change management and business process improvement. Her focus at IES is Quality Management Systems, but her expertise includes Six Sigma Program Planning, Lean Kaizen Initiatives, Business Process Mapping and Project Management. Adrianne has a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology and MS in Systems Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She is a Certified Continuous Improvement Facilitator and Six Sigma Green Belt.
