Loree Blue is the Director of Marketing and Communications at NC State University Industry Expansions (IES), where she is constantly asking questions, leading the charge to energize and position the IES brand, expanding media, marketing, advertising, and sponsorship opportunities, and implementing collaborative processes for the talented IES marketing team. Before returning to North Carolina to join IES, Loree lived in Chevy Chase, DC, serving The Maryland National-Capital Park & Planning Commission, Montgomery Parks, as marketing manager. Previously, Loree spent over thirty years as the CMO for a boutique marketing communications firm in Winston-Salem, NC, and gained marketing experience in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, technology, foodservice, furniture, apparel, retail, hospitality, and tourism. Loree is thrilled to return to North Carolina to be able to enjoy outdoor activities, support her golf addiction, drive in less chaotic traffic, and be back where she claims, “Even strangers are friendly and polite.”
