The NC State University Office of Outreach and Engagement is recognizing Dr. Deborah Manzo, a management systems and quality improvement specialist with NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES), with a 2019 Outstanding Extension and Engagement Award. Dr. Manzo directs the North Carolina Performance Excellence Coaching Program, providing coaching, facilitation and training for leaders, managers, supervisors and associates in government, business, healthcare, manufacturing and education sectors. Her areas of expertise in transforming organizations include leadership, strategic and action planning, customer engagement, data analytics and cascading scorecards, knowledge management, workforce engagement and satisfaction, process improvements and results-based decision making. Dr. Manzo will be presented the award on April 12th at a luncheon to honor the outreach and engagement accomplishments of faculty and staff across NC State University.
