Join the Southeastern OTI Education Center’s safety and health team for a virtual “Timeout for Safety” with monthly sessions starting in April 2021!  Connect with your peers for an interactive conversation with timely information concerning today’s safety and health concerns and future directions. Each virtual session will only take a half-hour of your day, but we hope to reinforce our network of learning with engagement and fun.

The sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams.

Fall Prevention Safety Stand–Down

The eighth annual National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction is scheduled for May 3–7, 2021.OSHA encourages construction employers and other stakeholders to join the event to promote awareness and training to address one of the industry’s most serious dangers. OSHA’s Fall Prevention Stand-Down webpage offers a wide range of compliance resources in many languages, including Spanish, Polish, Russian and Portuguese. Participants will receive a  personalized participation certificate upon completion.

OSHA also encourages everyone to use #StandDown4Safety to promote the event on social media and share feedback after their events.
