Southeastern OTI Education Center’s New Trainer Portal Launched

FOOTnotes

The new OSHA Trainer Portal for trainers authorized through the Southeastern OTI Education Center went live on August 28, 2018. With the idea of the trainer portal being aone-stopp shop, our trainers have more functionality now than ever before. New features include, but are not limited to, the ability to:

  • Save and edit reports prior to submission
  • View statuses of submitted reports
  • View and download copies of reports
  • Edit reports (with authorization from Southeastern OTIEC) until point of approval–no more complete resubmissions!
  • Check trainer card expiration dates
  • Submit agendas and exception requests for upcoming classes

While we are excited about the new system and all of the upgrades, we are continuing the development work to keep making the system even more user-friendly and assist trainers with the upkeep of the OSHA Outreach Training Program Requirements and Procedures. We thank all of our trainers for their patience throughout the transition. Do not hesitate to email us at southeasternoti@ncsu.edu with any questions, concerns, or suggestions in accordance to the new trainer portal!
