  • OSHA and Region IV OTIECS Join Forces to Strengthen Outreach Programs

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – RALEIGH – The Southeastern OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) in Region IV, led by NC State University and The University of Tennessee, has signed an Alliance with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Atlanta Regional Office. Signed on September 29, 2015, at the Third Annual Region IV OTIEC Directors Meeting at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, the Alliance aims to foster safer and healthier workplaces.

  • IES Executive Director to Moderate Panel at NC Chamber’s 2015 Manufacturing Summit

    NC State Industrial Extension Service (IES), the solutions-based, industry and business focused unit of NC State University, today announced that Executive Director Terri Helmlinger Ratcliff, PE, PhD will moderate a panel discussion at The North Carolina Chamber’s 2015 Manufacturing Summit. The panel, titled “Competing in the Global Economy,” will take place on Thursday, June 4 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
