Trainer Toolbox

Opportunity to participate in a research project!

We are partnering with West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension, and their OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC), in a study that entails collecting information about the Outreach Training 10-Hour Construction course. This will be accomplished by surveying both Outreach trainers and their students.

All surveys will be conducted online, and feedback will be kept confidential. Trainers who participate will receive a $100 gift card! If you are currently authorized in the Construction Industry, regularly teach the 10-Hour course, and are interested, please let us know! You can do so by emailing us at southeasternoti@ncsu.edu.

IMPORTANT- OSHA Outreach Training Program Update

Effective October 1, 2023, the cost of Outreach Training student completion cards will increase to $10 per card and $25 per replacement card. Initiated by the OSHA Office of Training and Education, this price adjustment (the first since 2017) will be implemented by all OSHA Training Institute Education Centers.

Additionally, OSHA plans to conduct biennial reviews using the Consumer Price Index to determine the need for future price adjustments.

For questions, please contact us at southeasternoti@ncsu.edu or 919.515.5358.
